David joined Avanti Residential in 2021 and serves as an Associate on the acquisitions team. He is responsible for underwriting new acquisitions and recapitalizations, as well as supporting the due diligence and transaction management process. Over his career, David has held various roles within accounting, finance, and investment consulting. Prior to Avanti, David worked in the finance group at an investment management firm in Denver, CO. Previously, he worked at an institutional investment consulting firm in Minneapolis, MN serving in a variety of roles including fund manager research, investment reporting, and performance analytics. David began his career in the accounting group at CBRE.
David received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Saint John’s University (MN). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder and member of the CFA Society of Colorado. David is originally from Minnesota and moved to Colorado in 2018.
